UltraSignup offers Race Directors membership in Adventure Advocates, an affiliate organization of UltraSignup. Adventure Advocates membership includes a benefit program, called “Event Cancellation Protection,” that allows Race Directors to provide a refund of the event registration cost to registrants in certain circumstances covered by the membership program—for example, extreme weather or terrorism. Adventure Advocates will then reimburse UltraSignup for the cost of those registrant refunds and UltraSignup will electronically distribute refunds to the registrants of the covered event(s).
There is an additional cost of 3% per registration, which will be included on payout statements.
